Important Notice

Les couleurs montrées ici ont été appliquées sur le pin, et on a pris soin de le rendre proche de la réalité. La couleur et la brillance que vous obtiendrez dépendront des caractéristiques, de l'absorption, de la texture du bois. En outre, le résultat sera affecté par l'épaisseur de la peinture et le nmbre de couches appliquées. Afin de pouvoir voir la vraie couleur, il est recommandé de la tester sur le bois à utiliser.

Quantité d’application:

  • Avec 1 L. 8-10 m2 de surfaces dans les bois tendres, 15-18 m2 dans les bois durs peuvent être lubrifiées

Surface Preparation:

  • Remove any dirt, oil and wood dust from the surface.
  • New Wood Surfaces:
    • Sand the surface with sandpaper #80/120.
    • Thoroughly clean the generated dust.
  • Old Uncoated Wood Surfaces:
    • Sand the weathered surface with sandpaper #80/120 or restore wood surface using HEMEL Deck Restorer.
  • Coated Wood Surfaces:
    • Do not apply the product directly on pre-coated surfaces.
    • Remove the old paint/varnish from the surface completely with a sanding machine.
    • Thoroughly clean the generated dust.

Application:

  • The product is ready to use and does not require thinning.
  • Stir the product thoroughly before use and check its homogeneity. Repeat this process during the application.
  • Apply the product in 1 coat by a brush or roller and remove the excess oil by brush for the best result.
  • Apply in the direction of wood grain to get a homogeneous look.
  • The treated surface may be stepped on after 24 hours.

Maintenance (when the same product had been used before):

  • Do not apply the product directly on pre-coated surfaces.
  • Clean the wood surface completely from dirt and oil and perform a slight sanding.
  • Thoroughly clean the generated dust.
  • Repeat same process as described in “Application”.
  • Inspect annually and maintain as required.

Instructions:

  • FOR EXTERIOR USE ONLY.
  • Keep product closed when not in use.
  • The general application temperature of the product is between 15oC to 25oC at a relative humidity range of 40-65%.
  • The moisture content of the wood should be max. 20%.
  • Do not apply the product under direct sunlight or rain.
  • To provide a long lifetime protection against decay, apply HEMEL Timbercare Aqua on untreated softwoods and wait 24 hours before applying HEMEL Deck Oil.
  • The product should be stored at temperatures between 5°C to 35°C.
  • Painting tools should be cleaned with mineral spirits after the application.

Safety Precautions:

  • USE WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION.
  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
  • Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage.
  • Do not use empty plastic cans for other purposes.
  • To avoid overexposure, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
  • Wash hands after using.
  • FIRST AID: In case of eye contact, flush thoroughly with large amounts of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists. If swallowed, call Poison Control Center, hospital emergency room, or physician immediately.
  • Dispose of contents/plastic cans in accordance with national regulations.
